Enrichment Program

Little Hoku offers daily enrichment programs to children ages 3 to 6. The program is open to Little Hoku Montessori Academy students, as well as the the general public. Children are not required to be enrolled at Little Hoku Montessori Academy in order to attend the enrichment programs.

Olivia Rose is the enrichment program teacher. Olivia has a master’s degree in early childhood education, is a certified yoga instructor, and an art educator.

The after school enrichment programs is an hourly, affordable program open to public in Maui, Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (broken down in two 1-hour block sessions). In Little Hoku enrichment programs, your child will have a fun time while being exposed to various activities such as learning a foreign language, art, yoga, and more. Registration is required to get started.

Enrichment Programs Offered at Little Hoku

Art Enrichment

Art activities will include drawing, molding, cutting, and coloring allowing children to engage their minds in coordination with their hands have their minds open to exploration and creativity.

Yoga Enrichment

Benefits of yoga enrichment program include developing self-regulation strategies through mindfulness practices, stress management techniques (yes kids have stress!), stronger self-esteem, while learning to have a positive body image, and much more!

Foreign Language Enrichment

Children can benefit greatly from learning a foreign language because their brains can soak in a foreign language like a sponge. Some benefits of learning another language include vocabulary improvement, confidence booster, improve social and emotional skills, learn about other cultures, and more!
